eine mit goldpigmenten bedampfte monitorfläche, in der sich der künstler – später durch ein lebensgroßes foto des künstlers ersetzt – sowie das anwesende publikum real, aber seitenverkehrt – spiegelt, bildet den ausgangspunkt. eine allmähliche, künstlich herbeigeführte verdunkelung des raumes lässt eine nachtsichtkamera aktiv werden, die den künstler – später das anwesende publikum –, durch die vergoldete monitorfläche hindurch real und – seitenrichtig – wiedergibt.
die irritation der subjektiven wahrnehmung korreliert mit dem permanenten wandel zwischen medialen und realen wirklichkeiten.

the overlapping of reflected and actual reality. the starting-point was a monitor surface metallised with gold pigment that reflected the artist – later replaced with a life-sized photo of the artist – and also the audience – in reverse. a gradual, artificially produced darkening of the space activated a night vision camera, which reproduced the artist and later the audience in a luminously realistic manner, and not reversed via the gilded monitor surface. the irritation of the subjective perception correlates to the constant shift between media and actual realities.
